Armed with a degree in Communications, Brookelyn is a serial entrepreneur with a string of successful ventures to her name, showcasing her innovative spirit and business acumen. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to driving positive change and empowering others, earning recognition for her visionary leadership and commitment to excellence. She specifically loves working with clients to make their dreams reality!

HANNAH

Director of Business Operations

Hannah has a degree in Business Management and worked in marketing and sales for a several years before joining the Van Sharks team. She loves the work environment and enjoys turning clients’ custom dreams into a reality. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and being outdoors. 

TYM

Shop Foreman

Tym’s background is in welding and fabrication. With 18 years of experience in manufacturing and production, he has specialized in custom upfits and van conversions for the past 11 years. Tym has proudly served as a shop manager for about 14 years.

MARCOS

Master Technician

Bringing 15 years of experience and custom manufacturing, Marcos specializes in custom woodwork, cabinetry, and finish work. He is dedicated to crafting meticulous and tailored solutions to all our clients' custom needs.

JAMES

Master Carpenter

James is a custom woodworker carpenter with plumbing and management experience.Carpentry is not only his job it is also his hobby, bringing him joy and a sense of accomplishment on every project he works on. James is married with children and loves spending time with his family.

SHAWN

Master Technician

With more than 10 years of experience in the luxury van conversion space, Shawn brings a tremendous amount of expertise to the Van Sharks team. Shawn has a versatile skillset, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and more. In his spare time Shawn enjoys spending time with his family.

STEPHEN

Technician

My name is Stephen Rosales, and I have three years of experience in the construction industry. Currently, I hold the position of Master Technician at Vansharks, where I have developed a diverse skill set and gained extensive knowledge. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family and engaging in hobbies such as working out and going for walks.

Ben

CAD Design Specialist

My name is Ben Walker, and I am a CAD Product Designer and CNC machine operator. I have 15 years of experience working as a software developer and UX/UI designer at nuclear power plants, construction companies, and cloud data centers, but for the last 18 years, I have been obsessed with designing camper vans. I love watching van build videos, maximizing interior space in creative ways, and tackling all of the challenges one must face when building a van. The limitations of the van are what make it so exciting! I get a thrill from seeing novel ideas brought into reality, and I appreciate all the aesthetic touches that can bring a design together in an incredible way. Each design is not just a look; it’s a feeling. Capturing the feeling our clients want to create is my top priority. I absolutely love how much effort, passion, knowledge, and experience are required to build a van, and I am so excited to work with a team that makes people’s dreams come true

GARRY

Master Technician

Garry Butcher, also known as G-Dawg, says that while he may be a little rough on the eyes, he indeed has a heart of gold. Garry came from 18 years in the security business wiring custom homes. He has a beautiful wife, three kids and a bunch of grand babies! In his spare time, he enjoys riding his Harley with his brother. He specializes in the process of custom fabrication from start to finish and feels blessed to be at Van Sharks.

Office Manager

My name is Laura Alva. I love spending time with my family and am currently working towards obtaining my associate's degree. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, and my favorite hobby is kickboxing. I truly cherish every moment spent with loved ones.

Diesel Mechanic

My name is Erasmo Chavez. I am 58 years old and have 30 years of experience in auto repair, along with 9 years as an RV technician. My expertise includes fuel injection, electronic ignition, suspension, steering maintenance, and both gasoline and diesel engines. Additionally, I handle plumbing and electrical jobs. I am very glad to be part of this wonderful team at Vansharks. I believe it's a great working environment, unlike any I have experienced before. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to be here.

BARRY

Master Technician

My name is Barry Butcher. I am 60 years old and was born in Smyrna, Tennessee, in 1963. As an Air Force brat, I traveled a lot as a child. In 1974, I moved to Texas from Hawaii. I left school during my junior year of high school and joined the Army. I have one amazing brother whom I would do anything for. I have been married three times, divorced twice, and am widowed once. I have one beautiful biological daughter, Journee Aslynn, along with three stepsons and one stepdaughter—all my kids. I am also blessed with five granddaughters. I cherish my family and friends, whom I consider family.

I love being outdoors, finding nature therapeutic, and riding my motorcycle for wind therapy. I have a passion for animals and enjoy being creative with my hands. I learned auto upholstery in high school and find great joy in putting smiles on people's faces.

I have been working as an industrial maintenance mechanic for 4 years, and I love fixing, making, and troubleshooting equipment. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family and kids.

EMILY ANNE

Inventory Manager

I moved to Houston from Oregon in summer 2022, despite the Texas summer weather. As a litigation paralegal with 14+ years of experience, I met & was mentored by Brookelyn while working at a local personal injury law firm. Brookelyn’s compassion & encouragement enabled me to find the confidence necessary to build & grow my department from the ground up over a year & a half. Recently, I’ve made the industry pivot joining Van Sharks, using my elaborate organizational skills & keen eye for small print in order to manage inventory for our Van Sharks’ builds.

I love to spend my free time with my husband, who supports my complex addiction to crafting, DIY projects & Lego sets. In addition to my love for Batman, Little Mermaid & anything mini, I take my fandom of the Denver Broncos VERY seriously!

I'm blessed & incredibly thankful to be given the opportunity to continue learning from Brookelyn & our expert team. Van Sharks is a very special place to work because of an exceptional, incredibly patient & skilled team; one that has supported me while I learn about this industry more & more daily. I look forward to watching Van Sharks grow & see what unprecedented transformations our Van Sharks' team comes up with!

Finance Manager

Nola holds a degree in Computer Engineering and has several years of experience working in the data management and accounting field. She has a passion for data analytics, creation of workflows and process development. She is very dedicated, and customer service oriented. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and is currently working on her book.
